Workforce Framework Extensions 2023
Non-Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staff Framework.

This framework offers all UK public sector bodies a route to market for all non-clinical temporary and fixed term appointments, of which any grade or specialty can be requested.

Providing the most economically advantageous offer can be justified, you can direct award under this framework. Alternatively if direct award is not suitable the Workforce Alliance can offer support to work out your requirements and the best route to market through this framework. We can offer advice and help to put together a further competition based on your needs.

Please get in touch if you would like more help. If you want an output based package of work that outlines a specific set of needs and payment is based on the delivery of those needs then Statement of Work is also in scope of this framework and we can support you with implementation. Lots include:

  • Lot 2 - Corporate Functions Supply
  • Lot 3 - IT Professionals Supply
  • Lot 4 - Legal Supply
  • Lot 5 - Clinical Coding Supply
  • Lot 6 - Ancillary Staff Supply

This free to access framework has been extended for a year until 25 July 2023 to provide the market with additional support in their workforce planning. For further information about the framework please visit the website.

Flexible Resource Pool Framework

This Workforce Alliance framework agreement supports NHS trusts to flexibly manage workforce, maximise shift fill rates and support the reduction of agency use.

Through this framework you can access services to help you flexibly manage your workforce, including the setting up of anew staff bank, or the complete outsourcing of your bank’smanagement, to maximise shift fill rates in the most efficient way possible.

You choose the staff groups covered by the bank, and within these any grade or specialty can be requested. The groups are:

  • Doctors, consultants, dentists and GPs
  • Allied health professionals, health science services and emergency services personnel
  • Nursing and midwifery personnel
  • Non-medical and non-clinical.
