NHS Workforce Alliance has launched the bid pack for the next iteration of the Non-Clinical Staffing framework (RM6277). The new agreement is due to go live in April 2023 and will succeed the existing Non-Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staffing framework (RM6160).
The new framework will support trusts and public bodies to appoint temporary and fixed term workers via a variety of employment models, in a wide range of disciplines, including:
- admin and corporate roles
- IT services
- legal services
- clinical coders
- scientific and technical roles
- facilities management and ancillary roles
The new agreement will support ad hoc staff engagement through managed models such as Master Vendor and Neutral Vendor. By default, suppliers are required to be compliant with NHS: pay scales, agency price caps and Employment Check Standards.
The framework will contribute to the NHS Net Zero targets and Social Value goals outlined in PPN 06/20 as well as meeting central government’s Social Value Model. The agreement is compliant with the Cabinet Office Sourcing Playbook.
