Convenzis connects workforce leaders in London to help address current NHS challenges
The Alliance was pleased to be involved in the recent NHS Workforce Conference hosted by Convenzis in London on 5 November.
The event organisers brought together speakers from the NHS, Government and universities to discuss innovative strategies for addressing current challenges in healthcare staffing and workforce management. Key themes included recruitment and retention, technology integration, training, and staff well-being, all with an aim of building a resilient, skilled workforce to achieve better patient care outcomes.
Acknowledging our NHS workforce experience and expertise, the organisers invited the Alliance to deliver an afternoon presentation. David Downey – Workforce Assistant Director from our East of England regional team, provided insights on building sustainable workforce models. His presentation focused on the importance of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and effective contract management with supply agencies. David emphasised the need for a joined-up approach and coordination between key decision makers in HR, finance and commercial colleagues to achieve effective delivery – emphasizing the need for collaboration to correctly balance agency and bank staff.
Our stand attracted fantastic interest, with delegates engaging with our workforce management specialist from across the Alliance to explore strategies that can help improve workforce efficiency and productivity. It was a pleasure meeting new NHS colleagues and catching up with many that we already work closely with. We would like to extend our thanks to Convenzis for organising yet another successful workforce event.
