Nursing Times Summit 2024

Confirmed partner of the Nursing Times Workforce Summit & Awards 2024

We’re excited to announce that we are supporting the Nursing Times Workforce Summit & Awards 2024. The event brings together nursing colleagues and leaders to address current workforce challenges while honouring those who have positively impacted the profession.

As a confirmed partner, the NHS Workforce Alliance will be engaged in both the virtual summit sessions on 21 November and hosting a stand at the in-person summit in London on 28 November:

Addressing nursing workforce challenges

The NHS Workforce Alliance provides strategic workforce support to nursing leaders throughout England, encouraging collaboration and sharing of best practice across trusts and at ICB level to help overcome current workforce challenges.  Our decision to participate in the Nursing Times summit was straightforward.

“We are delighted to participate in our first Nursing Times event. So many of our colleagues in the NHS Workforce Alliance have devoted their careers to the NHS and we take immense satisfaction from helping to deliver patient care by supporting the nursing profession in whichever way we can.” Will Laing, Operations Director, NHS Workforce Alliance.

As an NHS organisation ourselves, we have no profit incentive. Our sole focus is to support patient services, build talent and secure resources for the long term. We can support nursing leaders with strategic workforce advice that can address issues such as attracting new staff, managing staff banks, retaining and developing existing workforce, plus current issues such as removing off-framework staff and reducing over price cap spend.

We look forward to meeting our NHS nursing colleagues at the summit. If you would like to pre-arrange a meeting with a member of the NHS Workforce Alliance team, please don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing frankie.mortimore@workforcealliance.nhs.uk
